Missoni for Target

I have to say I'm not a super huge fan of Missoni. I like it but I don't absolutely LOVE it like I do other designers. The collection will be at Target for about a month and it's definitely getting a lot of buzz. It is about 400 pieces of clothes, home, and outdoor and there are a couple things I already like!

Obviously I still want the Lily P. cruiser but this is still cute. I know I will be seeing it in Pacific Beach…it's kinda "hippy chic"

This is what caught my eye from the collection…I didn't see any of their "home" products beside the furniture that I loved. I think they have things for the bathroom and kitchen too.

The collection is out the 13th.

This is what I wish my parents would have said to me while they were booking this fab trip to Greece with their friends. I would have said I WOULD LOVE TO and I'd be off to Greece like two days ago.

Instead, they went with a couple friends and are sailing around in the Mediterranean Sea.

I did however get invited to a girls weekend trip. And by girls I mean my Grandma, two Aunts, my mom and Lily :) We will all be meeting up in Myrtle Beach!

I have never been so I'm excited…the beaches look super clean. I just cant wait to spend time with my fam and little sassy Lily

In my dream home I would have chevron. I feel like I have seen it a lot lately and I like it. Just a little here or there, not everywhere ;)

And I definitely need to invest in a suit like this. A couple weekends ago I was tossed by a wave boogie boarding with phil (aren't we so cool?)…guess what slipped down? Yes, my bottoms. Luckily I pulled those suckers back up before I stood up. Otherwise it could have been ugly.

Check and Check

I have been getting things crossed off my 101 in 1001. I found another "job." Yes it's only babysitting but I'm considering it a job. It's only on Mondays and Tuesdays which is so nice and I really really like the family :) The parents are 100% down-to-earth and the kids are super active which will make it fun! They also live on Coronado which will make it easy to get to my other job! They are like two blocks from the beach so I'm sure we'll be going there often and having days like this:

The other thing I'm so happy to cross off, and yes it's a weird one, is going to the grocery store and only buying the things on my list. I ALWAYS spend so much money at the grocery store, usually on things we don't need. Like when I'm at the store and I walk down the snack aisle I think to myself, do we need Chips Ahoy and Oreos?? Um yes. 

You catch my drift?

It felt really good to only get what we need and also not to spend an arm and a leg at the grocery store for things that usually go bad because I get too much for two peeps.

Fuzzy Fur

I have been dreaming of this faux fur vest. I would really like it :) I would wear it to a snowy weekend get-a-way. But, just incase I won't be able to get my hands on that one I have been researching others and found many that would suffice. Take a little look-see...

Here Comes Fall!!

Things I will miss about the midwest: Seasons

I am loving the new fall trends but I just don't know how it works here in SoCal yet. Like do we wear boots with skinny jeans and big chunky sweaters?? Yes please! So, until I know how Fall and the other "seasons" work I'll just dream of all the fall things I would be wearing at home while watching the pretty leaves change color…we don't get that hear, can you even believe that?? Silly palm trees!

Blaze it upppp

So there are many things I love about San Diego and I'm finding more and more everyday like this little gem where me and two girlfriends ate next to Ali and Roberto from the Bachelorette. Ya, you read that right…but don't worry, we weren't the girls who asked her for a a picture we were the creepy girls trying to sneakily take pictures.

So this is the place, The Blazin Grill. 

This is the acai bowl…it has become a problem in my life. It is DE-LISH and I have gotten one each day since we left that yummy place. 

It is great for you, the perfect breakfast/lunch, and super hard to pronounce.

There is a downside to this tasty treat, it gets in ALL OVER your mouth in your little teeth crevasses and turns your lips blue…only eat with girlfriends or hubs who will tell you where these sneaky specks try to hide.
